Nextel SIM (Motorola i60c)

Just received the Dekart Reader and installed drivers and SIM Manager 2. Wanted to xfr Nextel SIM phone book to CSV and move into WM Outlook Contacts.

Problem is I can't see any phone book contacts, but I see "owner info" and some other fields in SMS messages. I can see the phone book in the phone but not in SIM Manager 2. In GSM Contact list everything is blank except for 99 and 100 which are Nextel support Name and Phone.
The SIM is from a Nextel Motorola i60c. MY PC is Dell 8250 3.2GHz with 1GB RAM, WinXP Pro (no SP2). Program is installed on primary drive (C:).
I have Admin rights.
SIM Manager 2
Norton AV and Zone Alarm Pro are present.
Connected via Belkin powered USB Hub. There are other USB devices (wireless mouse, keyboard, WiFi, MIDI interface) but they don't give me any problems.

Driver is Dekart 1.1.5.7 9/4/2006
Reader Card Parameter is at default (MCU (T=0/T=1)
I also tried Auto-Detection
Still no joy.
I chose this product and software specifically for this project (xfr Nextel phonebooks to Outlook) so I hope we can get it working.
Any ideas?

Ron, there are several things you should take a look at.


The numbers you see in the phone are not stored on the SIM card, but in the phone's own memory; which is why SIM Manager does not show any entries in that list. If that's the case, try to look for a 'migrate contacts to SIM' or 'copy contacts to SIM' option. You can verify this by plugging your card into a different phone - if the contacts are not on the SIM, you won't be able to see them on the other phone.
Try right-clicking on Nextel contacts in SIM Manager's list and then press 'Read SIM'.



Tell me, do you see the 'Nextel contacts' entry in the list?

Thanks Alex. The card brings the contacts into the 2 other i60c's that I have, so I know they are on the card. There is no "migrate to SIM" option. Right-clicking on Nextel contacts line of the list performs the read again but the data is not visible. The phone indicates that there are 153 contacts on the SIM but SIM Manager 2 is not getting them....
