Nextel ic 402 sim reader

I have 3 ic 402 nextel phones and want to backup all my contacts.
Will the Dekart reader and software work as I would like to back up my contacts to PC

It will work; but to give you an exact answer - it depends on the SIM cards in those phones.

Some older card types that are now obsolte are not supported by SIM Manager.

Is there any way I can idetify what type sim cards I have before I make a decision on buying Dekart reader?

Look at the back of the card; you'll see the number of contacts it can hold. New cards hold 600 contacts; the older ones have a smaller capacity.

After putting on my reading glasses I now see that my phone is ic 502
and book states it will hold 900 contacts. I will be placing order for reader and software

Be careful during the purchase; you need the reader with SIM Manager 2 (not the older, SIM Manager 1, which is given away for free with every reader).
