When installing the smart card, the install goes past the STOP - Continue prompt then causes a BSOD, it will install under Safe mode, but then will not start in normal mode.

Which version of Windows do you have? Also, consider following the troubleshooting steps discussed in this forum thread (http://forum.dekart.com/showthread.php?t=1240).

Alex:

Windows xp pro sp 2

I had already tried all the steps from the other thread. It does install in safe mode but computer will not restart in any mode other than safe without the bsod.

Tried another usb slot, turned off spybot and avg antivirus.

I am going to try another computer this morning.

Have you got any feedback yet?

No, have no heard anything else. I submitted an email as well as the online form. Same thing happened on the other computer. Ready to send it back. I also read that only version 2.1 can read nextel sim cards.

Some questions about the other computer you tried it on:

- does it use (approximately) the same set of programs you have on the first computer (I am mostly interested in the antivirus, or other security software)
- when turning off the antivirus, did you also turn off the system services related to it [if any]?

Finally, can you tell me the message on the blue screen itself? (usually there is a code, followed by four addresses)
