My phone service provider is AT&T and my phone model is LG CU405. I placed the 3G sim card into the dekart sim card reader and then opened the dekart Sim manager application. I hit "read" and then edited a few contacts just to test it out, because I am a new customer. And then I hit "write" to sim card. I then place the sim card back into my phone and everything looks fine until I noticed that the sim card is now full. The management application wrote blank sectors/entries to my sim card a filled the card completely full.
My LG phone will not let me delete the blank entries on the sim card. So how do I update my SIM card using the dekart sim manager software without completely filling my sim card with blank entries?

Hmm, this behaviour sounds strange. Please do the following:
Copy this file xttp://files.dekart.com/tools/SimDump-01.zip (it creates an image of the SIM card and saves it to a file)
Run it, let it scan the card, then save the results to a file
If you have another phone, place the SIM in the phone, delete one of the supposedly empty records
Run the scan utility again, save the results to another file
Send both files to support at dekart dot com, indicating which is the first one and which is the second one
We'll examine these files and see what went wrong. If you don't have another phone at hand and there is no method you can use to delete an "empty" record, send us just one file.
Privacy note: these files will contain your SIM card data (phonebook names, numbers, SMS archive, etc). This information will not be used by us in any way, and we will not disclose it to anyone. The files will be removed as soon as we understand what the cause of the problem is.

An update for step#3:
Edit an empty record, in SIM Manager, write some bogus data to it
Delete that record with the phone (this should make it 'really empty')
Proceed as described in step#4 in the previous message.

I try this today and send you the files.
Thanks for the help.
