Hi
I've been trying to download your trial version of sim manager 1.08 - download successful BUT when I try to run the program I get the following error message - "A required.DLL file, WINSCARD.DLL,was not found " - therefore I cannot run the program at all - any ideas?

You must install "Microsoft Smart Card base components", you can find this on "ftp://ftp.dekart.com/pub/drivers/Microsoft Smart Card base components/scbase.exe",
download this file and install it.

Do you mean the game? then this is not the place :-)

That's because in the link he gave spaces should be changed to %20

Oh guys, come on, someone wrote earlier [2 or 3 messages above] that the problem is solved by installing the card base components.

My personal warning: do _NOT_ install this if you have Windows 2000 or XP, this is VERY important.

i installed the scbase.exe on win XP, and now the smart card resource manager is not working anymore.
How can i reinstall the original smart card components thtat comes with xp ?

Sorry pal, but I think you've done something ireversible. As far as I know, you canNOT get rid of the smart card base components if you're under Windows XP.

I do know that the following method works for Windows 2000 (type at the command prompt):

Regsvr32 %windir%\system32\scardssp.dll
Scardsvr reinstall

I haven't tested this in XP, but something tells me that it won't work. But it is still worth trying.
