Hello,

may I write my Problems in German - my English isn't good enaugh to write it. Do you understand me writing German? You can answer me in English - I'll try to understrand.

Joni

Hello Alex,

thank You for the answer. I checked the "Regional and Language Options" - it seems to be all right. I posted the screenshot in "SIMManager-Problem1.jpg".

The import of Names and telephone-numbers is ok - all special german letters (öüäÖÜÄß) are correct on the sim-card and on the mobile-telephone. Only the export is different. Then the special letters are changed. I hope you can help me.

The error-code for problem 2 is in "SIMManager-Problem2.jpg".

Thanks
Joni

See the attached file.

It is an updated version of SIM Manager, simply overwrite your .exe with the new one, then repeat the process.

If the error persists, post screenshots of:
- SIM Manager's window [where the characters are shown correctly]
- the CSV file open in an editor [where the umlauts should not be shown correctly]

Hello Alex,

thank you for the quick fixed program. Sorry, but there is now another bug: The DKAR.DLL ist missing (see posted picture). Can you post this DLL?

Thanks
Joni

dkar.dll is located in C:\Windows\System32 (or elsewhere, depending on the folder in which Windows was installed)

Copy this file to the folder where simmanager.exe is located.
This dll is a part of SIM Manager's distributive, so it should be in your system; if it is not there, perhaps you have uninstalled SIM Manager in the meantime?

Note that you don't have to uninstall the program, but simply overwrite the current exe with the one I posted earlier. If you have already uninstalled the program, install it again.

Hello Alex,

thank you, I found it in c:\windows\system32. But my path-variable is set to it, too. So I think, it doesn't matter, if it is there or in the SIM-Manager-Directory. Also, I tried out - the same message as above: an error reading the dkar.dll.
I didn't uninstalled the programm - I did, what you wrote: I renamed "SIMManager.exe" to "SIMManager - alt.exe" an copied the file you give me in the directory. An restart of my computer didn't fixed the problem.

Attached is an updated dkar.dll.
Copy it in the same folder with the .exe
