When I pull out my USB stick, the workstation are locked.
On the USB drive, I have "things" that needs to be inactivated before this happens. Currently I have to double click on an icon I have created on my desktop before I remove the USB stick.

I would like to have a function in Dekart Logon so it's possible to run a program/script when different events occurs. Like when the workstations is locked or unlocked.
Can this function be created for next version of Dekart Logon?

Windows XP can run scripts on lockout, logon, shutdown, startup. Not on workstation lock. Don't know if this works with Dekart Logon Family of products.

The option you describe is a very useful one.

The program does not offer such an ability yet, but we have added it to our to-do list;

How do you think it will be handier? For instance, we could add an action to each of the events, the action would be 'run program'. You can either run a EXE, or a BAT file that contains a set of commands.

Is this the way you picture this option? Or do you think it can be implemented in a different way?

Exactly like that would be nice :-)

I have now created an account. The above "Unregistered" is me.

In a similar vein, if I need to use two computers at once it's irritating to have the machine lock when I remove the key because it severely limits going back-and-forth; is there an easy way to turn this feature on and off? Thanks in advance!

Warm regards,

Jim

The only way to change that is via the program's applet in the Control Panel; there are no alternative paths.

It seems that in your case it is not reasonable to use the option of locking the workstation on key removal;

If you have ideas about where to add the 'quick-disable' control, feel free to share your opinion. We will consider your suggestion when working on the next version of Logon.
