In fact,
PIN code is asked, I put it, and after this, SIM Manager try to read the card and import entries, but it seem to be verfy short ( half a second max). After this, when i try to read card another time, it said that no card was recognized. Problem with card type (Bouygues Telecom, french Telecom Operator) ?
Thansk for your help.

Hi,
I am considering buying the Dekart SIM reader. I currently have a non PC/SC sim card reader, and have issues reading the numbers from Motorola phones SIM cards (It works fine with Sony-Ericsson phones).
Are you aware of any special formatting that Motorola may be using? Have you seen this problem with Dekart reader?
FYI, the Sony-Ericsson phone is unlocked, whereas the Motorola phones are still operator-locked.
thanks in advance!

What kind of cards do the Motorola phones have?
When you have a card reader, you access the card directly, without the phone, so it doesn't make any difference whether the phone is locked or not.
The special thing about Motorola is that they have a format of their own - Nextel iDEN; these cards have an entirely different structure, therefore they are not standard GSM cards.
We are now developing a version of SIM Manager that will be able to operate with such cards. We can send you a test utility, but you will need a PC/SC card reader to try it out.

I have the same issue. I have a smart card reader on my laptop & cut a hold in an old card (credit card size) to fit the sim. The software will read the SIM, reads the sim#, but only shows two Nextel #'s as contacts.
I am willing to be a beta tester if there is a test version available.

Yes, SIM Manager 2.0 can manage Nextel SIM cards. But you should note that there are some old types of Nextel cards (holding <=250 contacts) which are now obsolete and not issued to customers anymore. These are not supported, but they can be exchanged for new ones, which are supported.
