I could not find a licensing faq.. sorry I missed it if there is one. But I am curious as to the exact rules for dekart login licensing.
Basic question is.
If I have 9 users and 12 computers. Meaning no more than 9 will be loged in at the same time, so I have to purchase 12 license or is 9 sufficient?

And the converse, if I have 9 computers and 12 users how many licensing do I have to purchase? Also if there are users that arn't using keys, meaning they login with a regular password would that effect the equation of the first question. Meaning I have 9 people with USB keys that use dekart to login and 3 more that use regular passwords. With a total of 12 computers, and a domain where these 9 people move around from computer to computer..

Hi,

You can find the answer to your question here, in the sales FAQ (http://www.dekart.com/store/sales_faq/#install_how_many_pcs).

If I have 9 users and 12 computers. Meaning no more than 9 will be loged in at the same time, so I have to purchase 12 license or is 9 sufficient?

9 licenses are sufficient, since no more than 9 computers will be in use simultaneously.

And the converse, if I have 9 computers and 12 users how many licensing do I have to purchase?
9 licenses are sufficient, for the exact same reason.

I must also point out one detail, in order to eliminate ambiguities: a user is either an account in the system, or a person. In both cases, the above rules are valid.

Finally, it does not matter whether your users apply a password or use a key to log on to the system.
