I have a Nokia 6102 and Edge Wireless is my cell phone provider. I purchased a SIM Reader and downloaded the drivers and SIM Manger. The drivers work OK and SIM Manager can read the SIM Info, but when I click on "Read From Card" it shows a progress bar that gradually goes to 100%, but no contacts are displayed and SIM Info says "0 Contacts Read", and "250 Contacts Empty", even though there are over 200 on the card -- ??

Any help would be appreciated.

The most probable explanation is that the contacts are stored in the phone's memory, and not on the SIM.

Look for an option labeled "migrate contacts to SIM". The majority of modern phones store the data in their own memory, and not on the SIM card (because the SIM has a smaller storage capacity).

That was it ... phone memory 90% full, SIM empty ... don't see any option for transferring to SIM, but don't know why I would, except maybe for "valuable" contacts.

Thanks!!
