Hi
I was wondering if Dekart trialed any other biometric hardware that is not included in your "list of supported devices"?? I have a microsoft Keyboard with Fingerprint reader, will this or any other microsoft fingerprint reader devices work with Dekart Logon 2.21??

That list is not complete. Generally, we support any PC/SC-compliant smart card reader; and when it comes to biometric hardware, we support the devices that are Bio-API or HA API compliant.

In other words, there are many other devices we haven't tested ourselves, but they are compatible with the software. If you wish to purchase a biometric scanner and you are not sure whether it is supported, you can contact us first; if you need an 'instant answer', then find if the device is PS/SC compatible (or BioAPI or HA API - when dealing with biometric readers). If the answer is positive, then it it safe to conclude that the device is supported.

Microsoft Keyboard Fingerprint reader is not supported at the moment (the same applies to other Microsoft biometric devices), but we have considered the possibility to change this. (This task was assigned a low priority, because today we are working on the final tweaks of new versions for some of our applications)
