Application Failed to Initialize

When i updated windows xp, i recieved a blue screen about a login process, so i uninstalled the software and then reinstalled it. Now i get the application failed failed to initialize. Both of the errors are BSOD.

Which version of Logon are you using?
Which version of Windows was used before the update? By the way, what kind of an update are we dealing with? A re-install of the OS, a service pack, a security patch?

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
It was a security update from automatic updates.
