Lock won't work

I set my laptop to lock when I took the key out but it does not. That makes Dekart sort of useless. Why would it do this?

What happens when you take the key out? Are there any messages, or other signs of activity? Or nothing at all happens?

Tell me, which version of Windows you are running, and which version of Logon you are using.

Did this feature work previously?
Can you post a screenshot of Logon's configuration window? We need to make sure that you have correctly configured the program to lock the workstation when the key is removed.

I reinstalled the software and now it's working fine. But I do have another question. Is it best to check to have the token to logon or have the option to just put in the password? I ask in case a person lost his token or something happened to it.

You should make a token backup, this will help you deal with such cases with ease.

You don't need to purchase the program, since you can make as many copies as you want while you're on the trial period.
