I have a computer that is supposed to have only one login. Every you setup everyone's card with different pins, but the same login credentials, and user A lock the workstation and then user B use their card to unlock the session? If so, can this be avoided, is there something else that might do a better job of using a windows computer with only one login?

Why would you need such a setup? It seems to be against the natural order of things.

If B's card wouldn't unlock the system locked by A - it would mean that one would have to reinvent the wheel by creating an alternative to having multiple user accounts. Doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

First off, sorry for the typo in my posting topic. Its a specification. The windows machine more or less acts like a terminal, so local permissions are not reallly an issue since they will run a program in windows that uses a different part of the smart card. The client doesn't want to maintaince a bunch of local user accounts on the computers, and there will be no domain controller. Does this help?
