Wink Manage SIM card in Samsung Z140

I have a Samsung Z140 phone with an SFR phone sim card .
With a special samsung soft (PC Studio III ) installed in my laptop , I can see ,read and change some files directly in the phone memory when connected with a special (for Samsung ) usb data link cable .

Unfortunately , I can change some pictures ,ringtones and small video files but have no access and read/write anything in my phone book .

Access to any information saved in the Sim card is fully denied .

Without any displacing of the sim card ,I would like easily and quickly read and write at least in the phone book of the sim card .

Have you some Dekart’s product convenient please ?

Regards
Geo O.V

You can take a look at the SIM card reader + SIM Manager duo.

However, note that the smart card reader communicates directly with the card, so you will have to remove the SIM from the phone before managing it.

My guess is that Samsung won't allow you to manage the SIM card because they encourage you to store the contacts in the phone's memory (just an assumption).

Thanks Alex for your quick reply

Ok

Not exactly because ,a copy of the phone book is already placed in the phone's memory and there is no possibility to see and read it with PC Studio III.
It seems like a complete gap of this soft (may be full wanted by samsung)

Good morning everybody !

Same for me !

Could you please let me know if your sim card reader with the convenient soft is able to manage both the phone book placed in the sim card AND the same phone book (or another one) saved in the phone memory .?

This option will not be available in the next release, but it is planned.
In other words, you will be able to accomplish this, but not in the first release of SIM Manager 2.0

Default Manage SIM card in Samsung Z140

Greetings all members...

I would be delighted if someone out there could be of assistance with regard to the reading of data from smartcards.

I am looking for a program that would allow me to retrieve the necessary information from a smartcard.

Any suggestions?

Regards

Fred

Fred, are you talking about smart cards in general or SIM cards?

SIM Manager 3.2 will be able to retrieve SMS and contacts from the phone's memory, not just the SIM card.

The requirement for that is to be able to connect the mobile to the computer and make it accessible via a COM-port. This is usually possible when the phone has Bluetooth or infrared connectivity.
