We'll need to take a look at the logs to figure out what causes the flickering.

To enable them, do this:
- create c:\dk_smartkey.log
- click "enable logging" in the Settings dialog of Logon's administration program

Reboot the system, let the problem manifest itself, then send us these files:
- c:\dk_smartkey.log
- all the files from this directory: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Dekart

Jason, before you do a system restore, try the followings:

1. Boot in safe-mode and provide us with the logs from the directory: C:/Program Data/Dekart. The logs are called "dk_credentialprovider.log", send them at support [at] dekart . com

- In case the logs are missing, create a file called "dk_credentialprovider.log", and make sure it has the extension .log, and not any other.

2. In case you have filled the check-box next to "Enable secure logon in safe mode" make a System Restore to the moment before the one when you have installed your version of Logon.

3. If you were able to get into the computer, uninstall Logon, and if there are any files in the directory C:/Program Data/Dekart, then delete them too.

One last thing you may try to gen into your computer without making any changes to it is: click continuously the left-mouse button in the place where your user tile is (when the image is flickering).

And this should allow you to log in with the user.

If you succeeded then do the 3rd step.

Thumbs up Re: Windows Vista

Hello Jason,
seems it is problem in the installer,
you need to install Logon as Administrator (not user from Administrators group) or also you can do the following:
after installation run console as Administrator, switch to c:\windows\system32 and perform follow commands:
regsvr32 coskey.dll
regsvr32 coskeyps.dll
