Question Making cellular calls from laptop/PC??

Hi,

Is it possible to make cellular calls from a laptop/PC using a simcard reader or embedded 3g card?

I have been searching and searching but can't find software that can do that.

I basicly need a dialer software that reads my simcard and turns my PC into a cellular Phone.

I hope u can help me before I go the windows mobile 6 emulator route (and the still its the question if emulator recognizes the sim and starts calling..)

info can be send to stijnvandenhoven at hotmail dot com

Hi,

Unfortunately our card reader is not designed for such a purpose.

My advice for you is to take the VoIP route - install a SIP client on your computer, get yourself a SIP account and use your computer as a phone (including all the bells and whistles such as voice mail, caller ID, etc).
